Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise Pendant

I normally don't worry about where a stone was mined but in this case I make an exception. This gorgeous oval turquoise cabochon is from the famous and long closed Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona. Finding SBM turquoise is quite a feat these days and while I am certain there are many folks with drums of rough in their garages and work rooms, it is being doled out slowly so it stays precious and pricey. I have wrapped this beauty in sterling silver and the pendant is 2 inches long with the cab being 30mm by 24mm. The bail is large enough to accommodate an omega neckpiece or a necklace of small beads in the 4mm range. I include a polishing cloth but to keep the price reasonable, I leave sourcing a chain or neckpiece up to you. The figaro chain shown is not included.
