wire wrapped copper bracelet with white agate accent

This bracelet is very delicate and lightweight. I started by rolling a large piece of copper and cutting it to size, then gently hammered and flame painted that piece. It is wrapped in twisted round copper wire and finished with a handmade clasp/hook. The flame painted flat piece of copper won't really change, as it's been sealed, but the rest will naturally patina or you can quickly dip it in something acidic and bring the shiny copper look back to those parts. Copper is such a fun metal to work with! The little white agate stone is not too heavy and looks lovely with the copper wrapped around it.
