Septarian and Copper Pendant

This beautiful piece is made from a fragment of a septarian nodule wrapped in antiqued copper wire and accented with garnet beads.

Septarian nodules are one of my favorite rocks - think of them as prehistoric mud balls - the yellow part is calcite and the brown part is likely aragonite.
