Red Sodalite Cabochon Pendant

Red Sodalite? Looks blue here and so it is for the most part. The red parts are iron-stained calcite which is normally white and responsible for the name, Red Sodalite. The oval cabochon is wrapped mainly in solid copper but in honor of the white calcite, I wrapped the bail in sterling silver just to mix things up a bit. The pendant is 2 1/2 inches long and comes with a single strand neckpiece and a polishing cloth.
