gold sheen mahogany obsidian pendant, wrapped in copper

This piece of mahogany obsidian cabochon really shines in the sun. It's got some wonderful gold sheen to it. The colors look so lovely complemented by the copper wire wrapping in this pendant. It's a simple design to keep focus on the beautiful stone. Obsidian is plentiful where I live in the desert southwest, as is copper. I finished this pendant/necklace with a tan colored cotton waxed cord, that is knotted to be adjustable.
