Double Strand of Tourmalated Quartz

This is a nice double strand necklace of lantern-cut, tourmalated quartz. Tormalated quartz is similar to rutilated quartz but instead of needle-like inclusions of rutile, its has inclusions of black tourmaline. In theory this combination makes it a very powerful stone. The quartz beads are separated by tiny black spinel beads. The necklace is 16 1/2 inches in length and sports a silver tone toggle clasp.
