Colorful Statement Piece of Hand-Blown Glass and Gemstone Beads

This colorful necklace highlights the work of my favorite beadmaker, Sheila Chekoway. I see her often at the bead shows I attend. The three center, focal beads caught my eye and the rest is history. The stripey cranberry red ovals are flanked by turquoise-colored amazonite with a few beads of carnelian thrown in for good measure. It measures 18 inches and has a copper colored lobster claw clasp and extender chain.
